1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They help websites remember session and preference information.
mechaniq. uses a minimal cookie set. We do not use cookies for advertising or third-party tracking.
2. Essential cookies
Essential cookies keep authenticated sessions working. Without them, login, dashboards, customer approvals, and protected repair workflows would not function.
Essential cookies cannot be disabled without breaking core product behavior.
3. Analytics cookies
With your permission, first-party analytics count public page views and demo activity. A signed visit cookie expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. We record public page names, screen-size category, language, referral website and approximate country/city. Visitor records do not contain IP addresses, private page content, URL queries, age or gender. Raw visit records are removed by scheduled cleanup after 90 days.
4. Preference cookies
Preference cookies may store lightweight UI settings, such as display preferences. They should not contain personal repair data.
5. Managing cookies
Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies through privacy settings. Disabling essential cookies prevents authenticated features from working.
You can decline optional analytics without losing any features, or change your choice using Analytics preferences in the footer. We respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Signed-in administrators are excluded; the admin Visitor insights page also offers browser exclusion.
